Base Recipe (for each jar)
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup milk (any kind)
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
Variation 1: Peanut Butter Banana
Add 1 tbsp peanut butter to the base. Top with sliced banana and a drizzle of honey in the morning.
Variation 2: Mixed Berry
Stir in 1/4 cup mixed frozen berries with the base. They thaw overnight and create a natural berry syrup. Top with granola.
Variation 3: Apple Cinnamon
Add 1/2 tsp cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg. Top with diced apple, chopped walnuts, and a drizzle of maple syrup in the morning.
Instructions
- Combine all base ingredients in a mason jar or container with a lid.
- Add your chosen variation mix-ins.
- Stir well, seal, and refrigerate overnight (at least 4 hours).
- In the morning, stir, add toppings, and eat cold or heat for 2 minutes.
