A large-scale modernization effort to migrate the SONAR freight analytics platform from a legacy C# monolith to a distributed, agent-first microservices architecture. The rewrite targets four core services and introduces self-serve Stripe subscription management, a Carrier Intelligence product powered by external carrier data APIs, and an MCP server strategy for exposing SONAR freight data to AI tools.
The project also includes a social sharing feature for SONAR charts and a rethinking of how freight data is surfaced to both human analysts and AI-driven workflows.
